What is a database?
Since the relevant electronic resources are accessed through IP control and web address specific to the organization, the link addresses of databases in the library website should be used instead of search engines (Google, Yandex, etc.).
Electronic resources can be used only by members of our university (students, academics and administrative staff) to meet research and information needs. As user accesses are monitored electronically in accordance with license agreements (ANKOS, EKUAL, publishers), misuse will impose legal responsibility on our university and the related user. Furthermore, breach of contracts may result in the suspension or cancellation of the service provided. In particular, the following rules must be observed:
- Electronic resources should not be shared with non-university individuals and institutions (not to be used for commercial purposes).
- Licensed materials should not be uploaded to accessible online websites.
- It should not be downloaded and printed systematically (downloading articles on all volumes of a periodical, printing all pages of an eBook)
- The username and password for off-campus access must not be shared with others.

You can access databases remotely via the following web addresses without changing the Proxy settings on your computer. Access can be provided with the username and password you use for your Doğuş University e-mail address.

- Username: It is the first part of the e-mail address with the extension dogus.edu.tr.
Example: The username "kutuphane" is for the e-mail address kutuphane@dogus.edu.tr. - Password: It is the same as the password of Dogus University e-mail address. If the password has not been changed, it is the 11 digits of T.C. Identification Number or the last 5 digits of the ID number.
- Password need to be changed periodically. If the username/password error is received while accessing databases, password can be changed from the following web address: https://doupass.dogus.edu.tr
- In case you forget your password, you should contact the IT Department Support Center: https://destek.dogus.edu.tr

Articles submitted and accepted to the journals will be possible to be published as "Open Access" without paying the Article Processing Fee (APC), if requested by the responsible author.
