Programın amacına ulaşabilmesi, bu öğrenme alanlarının her birine eşit değer vererek uygulanmasıyla olanaklıdır. Bu araştırmanın amacı, Görsel Sanatlar Dersi Programındaki “görsel sanat kültürü” öğrenme alanının uygulanmasına yönelik Görsel Sanatlar dersi eğitimi veren sınıf öğretmenlerinin görüşlerini belirlemektir. Araştırma nitel araştırma desenlerinden biri olan fenomenolojik yaklaşımla gerçekleştirilmiştir. İstanbul il merkezinde görev yapan 20 sınıf öğretmeninin katılımıyla gerçekleşen araştırmanın verileri yarı-yapılandırılmış görüşme yoluyla toplanmış, betimsel analiz yöntemiyle çözümlenip yorumlanmıştır. Araştırmanın sonucunda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin görsel sanat kültürü öğrenme alanının içinde yer alan sanat tarihi, sanat eleştirisi ve estetik disiplinlerine ilişkin genel bir bilgiye sahip oldukları, etkinlikleri genel olarak uyguladıkları ya da uygulama çabası gösterdikleri sonucuna varılmıştır. Ancak, özellikle sanat eleştirisi disiplini başta olmak üzere bu uygulamaların sanat eğitiminin amaç ve ilkelerini içeren bir bilinçle yapılmadığı görülmüştür. Bu bağlamda, sınıf öğretmenlerinin Görsel Sanatlar dersini tüm boyutlarıyla işleyebilmelerini sağlayacak hizmet-içi eğitimlerin düzenlenmesi önerilebilir. In order to achieve the purpose of the program, equal importance should be given to each of these learning fields during the execution of the program. The purpose of this study was to determine the views of primary school teachers giving the course of Visual Arts about the application of the learning field of “visual art culture” within the scope of the Visual Arts Course Curriculum. The study was conducted with the phenomenological approach, one of the qualitative research designs. The research data were collected via semi-structured interviews held with 20 primary school teachers working in a central town of Istanbul and analyzed and interpreted with the descriptive analysis method. The results obtained revealed that the primary school teachers had a general view about such disciplines as art history, art criticism and aesthetics found in the learning field of visual art culture and that they generally carried out the activities or tried to do so. However, it was seen that these applications, especially regarding the discipline of art criticism, were not conducted in a way to cover the objectives and principles of art education. In this respect, it could be suggested that in-service trainings could be organized to help primary school teachers take all its dimensions into consideration while teaching the course of Visual Arts. |
